This ultra-luxe equestrian and wildlife estate in Amboseli, Kenya, is envisioned as a destination for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, Heads of State, and diplomatic delegations. We are seeking a world-renowned hospitality partner to co-develop and manage this property, refining existing designs and establishing operational systems that offer an unparalleled level of luxury, exclusivity, and personalized service. This manor will be an exclusive sanctuary where the natural grandeur of Africa meets bespoke hospitality, serving as the de facto palace for a new generation of African leadership.

Expected Impact: Ang’wen The Manor will be an iconic landmark for The Ndege Group and the continent. It will attract a new class of discerning guests, generating significant revenue while establishing a global reputation for African-led luxury. Its focus on exceptional wildlife viewing (including the Big Five at the doorstep), world-class equestrian facilities, and a fully personalised service will set a new standard for hospitality and serve as a showcase for sustainable, high-end tourism.

  • The Ndege Group, Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust®, is seeking a world-class hospitality partner to enter a co-development and management partnership for Ang’wen The Manor. This project involves the refinement of existing designs and the implementation of operational and management systems for an ultra-luxe equestrian and wildlife estate in Amboseli, Kenya. The successful partner will bring their globally recognised brand and operational excellence to position the manor as a strategic soft-power hub for Africa, catering to a select clientele of UHNWIs and global dignitaries.

Scope of Work

The successful bidder will be responsible for the following key deliverables:

  • Design & Development Refinement: Collaborating with our team to finalise and refine the architectural and interior designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of ultra-luxury.

  • Operational Management: The comprehensive management of all hotel operations, including guest services, staff training, marketing, and the overall guest experience.

  • Equestrian & Wildlife Management: Overseeing the management of the world-class equestrian facilities and implementing proactive wildlife management strategies in collaboration with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).

  • Brand & Marketing: Leveraging their global brand recognition to market the property to a targeted international clientele of UHNWIs, heads of state, and other VIPs.

  • ESG Integration: Ensuring the property's operations align with key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, including sustainability, conservation, and fair wages.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Pre qualification Criteria 1: Pedigree

    Pedigree

    A proven track record in the design, development, and operation of ultra-luxury hospitality properties, with a globally recognised brand (e.g., Aman, Four Seasons, One & Only Resorts, etc.).

  • Pre qualification Creiteria 2: Demonstrated Success

    Demonstrated Success:

    A strong portfolio of completed projects that clearly demonstrates an exceptional ability to deliver a bespoke, high-touch, white-glove, and silver-service guest experience tailored to meet the highest standards of quality and personalisation.

  • Pre qualification Creiteria 3: Operational Expertise

    Operational Expertise:

    Demonstrated extensive expertise in the comprehensive management of complex properties, including a deep and thorough understanding of high-end logistics, advanced security protocols, and the delivery of highly personalised and attentive service.

  • Pre qualification Creiteria 4: Fiscal Strength

    Fiscal Strength

    Audited financial statements for the past five consecutive years clearly demonstrating consistent financial stability and sufficient capacity to successfully undertake and manage a project of this significant provenance.

  • Ethical Governance

    Ethical Governance

    An impeccable compliance record with no major legal, regulatory, or ethical violations. Bidders must show commitment to social responsibility and governance aligned with the Trust's values.

Submission Requirements

  • A detailed profile of the bidding entity, including its legal structure, ownership, and key personnel.

  • A comprehensive proposal outlining the bidder’s approach to each element of the Scope of Work, including a detailed project timeline, proposed methodology, and a plan for operational management.

  • A detailed, itemised budget for the entire project, including all associated costs and proposed financial models for the partnership.

  • Case studies and references for at least three past projects of similar scope and complexity.

  • All relevant company registration documents, licenses, and a sworn statement of compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
