A Seminal Initiative for Sovereignty, Safety & Identity

Conceived by Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust®

Proposed to address the pressing, complex, and multifaceted continental security challenges—including, but not limited to, persistent terrorism in the Sahel region, prolonged instability in the Horn of Africa, exploitative actions by foreign actors, and the myriad internal and interstate conflicts observed across the continent—the United African Defence Force© (UADF) endeavours to unify the continent's fifty-four sovereign nations under a singular, robust defence apparatus. This unified defence force is meticulously designed to foster enhanced regional stability, significantly diminish reliance on external military interventions, and robustly safeguard African sovereignty against undue influence. A crucial component of its mandate includes the establishment of a Unified African Maritime Border, aimed at securing vital coastal and maritime interests. Importantly, its establishment will incorporate comprehensive capacity building for member nations through rigorous training programmes, provision of modern and technologically advanced equipment, and the development of a centrally managed operational base. Together, these measures ensure the creation of a cohesive, highly capable, and responsive force prepared to address diverse security threats effectively.

Founded on Principles

Firmly anchored in the foundational principles of The African Charter and the African Union (AU)'s ambitious Agenda 2063, the UADF represents a profound and strategic evolution of the existing African Standby Force (ASF). It aims to establish a more comprehensively integrated, resilient, and adaptive security framework underpinned by a multilateral treaty. Beyond addressing traditional security threats, it is meticulously calibrated to proactively tackle emergent and evolving challenges, including climate change-induced resource conflicts, cross-border terrorism, cyber threats, and increasingly sophisticated organised crime syndicates. By doing so, the UADF seeks to secure durable peace and foster an environment conducive to sustainable economic prosperity across the continent. Furthermore, the UADF is poised to streamline intra-continental resource sharing, optimise the deployment and operational efficacy of military and security assets across member states, and unequivocally serve as a powerful emblem of African leadership, unity, and self-determination on the international stage.

Operating under the astute guidance of ASDT, the UADF is strategically integrated with complementary initiatives, notably OmniGaza, a cutting-edge blockchain platform specifically engineered to guarantee unparalleled transparency and rigorous accountability in the intricate processes of project management and financial syndication. This potent synergy is designed to unequivocally underpin and catalyse sustainable development projects continent-wide, encompassing vital areas such as transformative infrastructure development, critical wildlife conservation efforts, and comprehensive youth empowerment programmes. Indeed, the Trust's distinguished flagship investment suite—comprising Ndege Aerospace©, Ndege MarketPlace©, and The Ndege Foundation©—is envisioned to flourish and expand exponentially, buoyed by this inherently secure and stable continental foundation.

The UADF in meticulously intertwines the indispensable pillars of security with comprehensive socio-economic development, cultivating a resilient and self-reliant Africa profoundly capable of navigating and surmounting future global uncertainties. The Ndege Group, therefore, extends a profound invitation to sovereign governments, esteemed ministries of foreign affairs, and global collaborative partners to actively engage in shaping and actualising this transformative vision, confident that through collective endeavour, continental security and African autonomy shall unequivocally prevail.
