Born in August 1993, David Okiki Amayo Jr. (also known as Trevor) is the Founder & Chairman of The Ndege Group, Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust. The Trust is dedicated to reshaping Africa’s economic and social landscape through sustainable development and ethical investment. His work spans various sectors, including aerospace, digital commerce, and environmental conservation, with a focus on leveraging technology and innovation to drive progress across the continent.

Professional Background

David has a diverse professional background, having served as the Head of House at The African Leadership Academy and contributed to significant projects such as the creation of Dubai Holding's Jumeirah Living brand. He also founded Kenya's Hustler Fund, a micro-lending initiative impacting over 20 million Kenyans. His experience extends to strategic consulting, infrastructure and real estate development, and finance, with notable involvement in market penetration strategies for brands like Barilla in Africa.

Under David's leadership, The Ndege Group and its OmniGaza platform comprises three core subsidiaries:

  • Ndege Aerospace: Focused on establishing world-class aerospace and defence solutions, including air freight, VIP charters, satellite-enabled telecommunications, and aerospace exploration, to enhance intra-continental connectivity and economic collaboration.

  • Ndege MarketPlace: A blockchain-powered platform promoting transparent trade and seamless access to Africa’s diverse goods and services, aiming to address inefficiencies in traditional supply chains and stimulate local economies.

  • The Ndege Foundation: A Development Finance Fund (DFF) and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) dedicated to conservation, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development, with initiatives in wildlife preservation, ethical governance, and currency & security unification.

Building on his International Relations and Development studies in London’s University of Westminster, David is also engaged in academic research, with a focus on data protection laws, judicial interpretations, and global governance.
